My Approach
I take a collaborative, co-creative approach to coaching. My job is to help you uncover you own inner genius, discover the best questions to ask yourself to identify any self-defeating habits and thought patterns, and navigate your best path forward. By working together, we can clarify your needs, identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and create a plan of action to help you achieve your goals.
I am compassionate and empathetic. I will be direct and gently challenge you when the situation calls for it. I will give you a safe space in which to explore your unconscious perspectives and behavior patterns and work toward solving the issues you're facing while helping you exceed your own expectations for yourself.
My Specialties
If you are currently in counseling and feeling "stuck," I can help you fill in missing pieces that you feel psychotherapy might not be providing.
If you are unsure about whether life coaching, counseling, or a synthesis of both is the best path for you, I can help you discover what approach best suits your needs.
History
I have always desired to live a life of service. Discovering life coaching as a career gave me the home I always wanted so I can fulfill this purpose.
I have a broad range of experiences that contribute to my talent as a life coach.
First and foremost, I am a mother and grandmother. Raising a child is excellent preparation for helping people develop problem-solving skills.
I have been through therapy at various crucial stages of my life. It met many of my needs, but sometimes I felt something was missing in the process that could help me move forward. I would have loved to have life coaching available to help me navigate these moments.
I have followed several career paths, giving me a variety of perspectives and experiences to draw on in our coaching sessions.
Qualifications
I am a member of the International Coaching Federation and am currently in the process of becoming certified through Coach Training Alliance and licensed through the International Coaching Federation.
